Oliva Nova Golf, designed by the legendary Seve Ballesteros, is an 18 hole, par 72 course measuring 6310m from the white tees. Oliva Nova, totally flat & easy to walk, is close to the beach and has numerous difficult water hazards which are a feature of the course. The 6th hole, par 3 measuring 170m's from the yellow tee with a stream edging the green is considered by many to be the best and possibly most difficult par 3 on the Costa Blanca. Generous fairways defined by local vegetation, strategically placed bunkers and of course, the water, make attacking some of the greens challenging, extremely interesting and a joy.
Oliva Nova has hosted many professional and amateur competitions most notable of which has been the penultimate qualifying rounds for the European Tour.

The Don Cayo Golf Club is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Bernia mountain range, was founded by Don Luis Campomanes in 1974, designed by Gregorio Sanz/Pedro Barber and sits at the foot of Altea Hills.
Don Cayo is a 9 hole course measuring 3078 metres from the white tees. Particularly challenging are the 5th hole (580m par 5) and the 6th hole (slightly uphill 227m par 3). The positioning of the Tee Boxes when playing a second 9 holes is sufficiently distinct and different to allow a competely fresh challenge.
The position of Don Cayo itself offers some of the most outstanding views of the local coastline from the course.

Based, naturally, on the Jack Nicklaus design principles it is an American parkland styled course, broad fairways, exquisitely shaped undulating greens with strategically positioned and at times deep bunkers. There is not a lot of water on this course but every hole is distinct in nature necessitating every shape of shot to be played. This course is a real test for any golfer.
Villaitana Levante is a beautiful, wide, open course providing panoramas which are outstanding and unequalled anywhere on the Costa Blanca.

The slope rating of 131 off the yellow tees reflects the challenge that the course provides. The first nine holes are technical. The legend that is Severiano Ballesteros designed the Alicante Golf Course, a course that offers a real test for pros and amateurs alike. It is located at the foot of the “Sierra Grossa” range, north of Alicante and is the only 18 hole, par 72, 6236m, white tees, course on the Iberian Peninsula which consists of six par 3, six par 4 and six par 5 holes.
For the longer hitters having six par 5's offers plenty of chances for birdies although every par 5 is well protected. The course enjoys seven water hazards so the ability to stay dry is very important. On the fourteenth hole you will find an unusual obstacle. In order to arrive at the green you must pass the ruins of the “Villa Ferrer”, a Roman Country House from the year 1 BC that was discovered during the building of the course.
Alicante Golf is known as one of the best maintained golf courses in Spain and although challenging is a joy to play.

Alenda Golf Course, designed by Roland Favrat and finished in 1999, is situated at the base of Sierra De Las Aguilas mountains and crafted around the natural landscape. Alenda is an 18 hole, par 72, 6257m, white tees, with the front nine wide and long but lined by pine and palm trees, good fun for all. The back nine is a total contrast and really tests any golfer as accuracy and concentration are paramount. You will need to be sharp on your game coming to the 16th to 18th holes, these can be damaging to anybody’s scorecard. The undulating greens require a good sense of touch and line judgment.

El Plantio Golf, which sits on the southern outskirts of the City of Alicante, is a short drive to both Alicante Airport and Elche and originally began in 1993 as a 9 hole, par 3 course. The high quality 18 hole, par 72, 6302m, white tees, main course, designed by Manuel Ferry Ruiz, was under construction at that time and opened in 2000. The 18 hole course is truly a gem in the Mediterranean, glorious fairways, undulating greens, large menacing bunkers but with its natural vegetation, fig, palm and cork trees now maturing and surrounding both fairways and greens, it has great depth and definition. The 1st hole is a difficult par 4 with a water hazard to the left of the green followed by an uphill par 5. Take a moment when finished to enjoy the views. Although some seem to think that the front 9 is the "easier" of the two, don't be fooled it requires concentration, skill and respect as any loose shot will cost you dearly. The back 9 must be taken seriously as there are numerous water hazards, waterfalls, raised greens, elevated tees, bunkers guarding greens and a mountain running alongside you on the 14th.
