Real Club de Golf Campoamor was designed by Carmelo Gracia Caselles, opened in 1989 on a former country estate, is surrounded by stunning, unspoilt countryside and takes full advantage of the different style of terrain. The 18 hole, par 72, 6203m, white tees, course was built running through two connected valleys, it is somewhat protected from wind by high ridges however, it is a long course, has wide fairways with gentle undulations and fast greens so it needs precision but suits both the learner and experienced golfer. There are some challenging holes but they are balanced with some lovely little par 3's. Being approximately 100m above sea level the views are spectacular over the Mediterranean and the course itself is defined by mature vegetation and local trees, palms, pine and orange.

La Finca Golf Course is a truly Mediterranean course situated at the foot of the Escotera Mountains. Designed by Jose Gancedo this 18 (+ 1) hole, par 72, 6394m, white, is over two levels in natural surroundings with stunning views. The course is long with lakes, flowing water, established local trees and vegetation. Challenging hazards such as the strategically placed bunkers punish the loose shot. La Finca is a beautiful course with quality lush fairways, fabulous greens and excellent course management, a must for all whether an experienced golfer or not.

Villamartin Golf Course was opened more than 35 years ago and is truly a distinguished course. Designed by Paul Putman this 18 hole, par 72, 6151m course is situated in a valley, is both hilly and flat as well as being heavily wooded but perfectly integrates with the natural surroundings. The first 9 holes at Villamartin are definitely higher than the reasonably flat terrain of the back 9 but with dog-legs, spacious greens, water, well placed bunkers, ravines, natural cliffs together with various natural obstacles, Villamartin offers great variation and you will find that you will use most, if not all, of the clubs in your bag.
The Villamartin signature 17th hole, par 3, which some say is one of the hardest in Spain, has an elevated back tee, carry the ball over the ravine and valley to an extremely undulated green (some would say two tiered) which is surrounded by trees and bunkers. The 14th hole is also a hole that requires your concentration and accuracy. The greens are not treacherous but need to be read carefully and together with the trees, ravines and slopes it all adds up to a challenge and a very interesting round of golf.

Designed by the acclaimed Pepe Gancedo and opened in 1991, the Las Ramblas Golf Course 18 hole, par 72, 5770m (white) lies within a beautiful mountainous area south of Alicante and if you like to take a few risks then this could be the course for you. Vigorous vegetation and thick woodland surrounds the course but the Mediterranean pine trees provide a memorable backdrop. Slopes throughout the course together with ravines make it difficult not to lose a ball or three but it makes the course tight with interesting holes. Accuracy is a definite requirement together with some imaginative shots should you get amongst the trees. The course is tricky with water obstacles, lakes, rivers and well placed bunkers. Take a good supply of balls.

Lo Romero Golf course, newly opened and situated in a great location close to the Costa Blanca coastline and the Costa Calida beaches. Designed by Jorge Gallén and Enric Soler this 18 hole, par 72, 6061m, yellow, course lies within a natural basin which was formerly a "finca". Lo Romero has a lush Mediterranean character and is suitable for all standards of golfers but be prepared to use every club in your bag. The course itself is challenging with strategically placed bunkers, 8 lakes and a rippling brook. The local vegetation that surrounds the course has been supplemented with indigenous plants and together with the beautiful landscape of orange and lemon trees it can be a test. The front 9 follows the natural slopes of the area with the back 9 winding its way through the natural pine forest and orchards of the finca land. Being reasonably close to the sea the wind can become a factor towards the end of your round especially on the 18th hole island green.

A nice touch from Las Colinas Golf & Country Club, together with the 12 minute tee time intervals, is the complimentary pyramid of balls on the practice range prior to your tee time, course guide and pitch repair tool.
Vistabella Golf Course is a new course opened in September 2009, near to the towns of Montesinos and Jacarilla and sits within, what was originally, a citrus fruit grove. Designed by the renowned Spanish and International Golfer, Manuel Piñero, this 18 hole, par 72, 6193m (white) has a variety of characteristics with spacious tees, wide fairways, raised bunkers all situated amongst the beautiful natural surroundings. Vistabella is an 18 hole course made up from holes 1 through 11 with a second tee box on 1 - 9 however the variation of the course and placement of the tee boxes makes the last, recently finished, 7 holes feel fresh and attractive. There is not a lot of water on this course but there are 2 large lakes, intimidating bunkers and natural vegetation that defines the fairways and course.

At the time of writing, Vistabella Golf Course has an excellent but temporary Club House with bar and food facilities to the side. There is a well stocked pro shop with a buggy and trolley rental service. Within the Club House there is a Restaurant serving International cuisine, terraces, the cafeteria and bar serves drinks and snacks. Changing rooms are in place. The driving range is a good size with some bays under cover, both mats and grass are available for practice. There is a practice putting green and bunker. Padel courts are available for rental and if you would like to try a different type of ball, there is also a Bowling Green.
Designed by Justo Quesada Samper, La Marquesa Golf & Country Club is an 18 hole, par 72, 6115m, white, course situated in the valley between the Quesada Mountains. La Marquesa is not a hugely difficult course but does have long and short holes, obstacles that will test your skill, palm and pine trees together with one of the main characteristics of the course - the layout of the lovely wide greens with their complicated slopes. The course is also bordered with lakes, streams and natural vegetation - 18 holes divided into 3 different sections. There is a great birdie opportunity on the par 5, 6th hole with water coming into play on the 4th, 9th and 17th holes. Experienced golfers may find this course a little easy but for most this will be a test, the use of all golf clubs and a good day out at a wonderful location.
