The Altea Golf Club (formerly Don Cayo Club) is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Bernia mountain range, was founded by Don Luis Campomanes in 1974, designed by Gregorio Sanz/Pedro Barber and sits at the foot of Altea Hills.
Altea Golf is a 9 hole course measuring 3078 metres from the white tees. Particularly challenging are the 5th hole (580m par 5) and the 6th hole (slightly uphill 227m par 3). The positioning of the Tee Boxes when playing a second 9 holes is sufficiently distinct and different to allow a competely fresh challenge.
The position of Altea Golf itself offers some of the most outstanding views of the local coastline from the course. Handicap Certificate Required
