The Burns Weekend was one of the best we have ever had!

The day started with the sound of Bagpipes as a traditional piper started the players in the Texas Scramble Competition.

The conditions were perfect, Luckily as the days before we had rain and even some snow.

The course was presented very well, testing the teams resulting in fantastic scores.

The supper at La Sella was abundant with speeches and anecdotes about Robert Burns. The flow of Macallan whiskey meant that every course was warmly received.

The Toast to the Lassies, given by Robert Westlands was packed full of fun and a lot of laughter was heard throughout the Ball Room.

The reply from the lassies was given by the queen of comedy herself, Crissy Rock. With her quick responses, she had the room in fits of laughter.

Finishing the night off with Crissy Rock entertaining us once more and then dancing the night away to the amazing voice of Kriz K.

Well done to everyone who made that such a great day and if you missed out then do get your booking in quick for the next competition  The Race to Carnoustie on the 17th of February.
