For the past 18 years, Campbell Lamont Golf has hosted its circuit finals at prestigious courses like La Sella Golf, Oliva Nova, and the renowned Carnoustie Championship Course in Scotland. In 2025, golfers will have the chance to earn their place at an even more legendary location in 2026: the Home of Golf, St Andrews.
The 2025 circuit will feature a series of qualifiers across Spain, culminating in an exclusive Spanish National Final. This is a unique opportunity for amateur golfers to secure a spot to play four of Scotland’s most iconic courses: Kingsbarns Golf Links, Dumbarnie Links, St Andrews Torrance course and the famed St Andrews Jubilee course.
Top players from the National Final will win an all-expenses-paid trip to Scotland on the 16th of April 2026, including five nights’ accommodation and four rounds of unforgettable golf (flights and room upgrades not included)
Each competition listed below will be a qualifying event throughout 2025. Here’s your chance to secure a spot in the National Final and join us at St Andrews!
The Spanish Finals will take place on Saturday 31st January at Melia Villaitana Levante Course, starting with a shotgun start at 09:00h.
All players who qualify through the official channels will be invited to compete, with Campbell Lamont Golf covering the tournament entry fee. Any buggy requirements on the day should be paid directly to CLG.
The field will be divided into four handicap categories, giving every golfer the chance to compete against players of a similar level. Winners of each category will secure their place on the trip to St Andrews, sharing a twin room.
Flights are not included. Players requesting single occupancy will need to cover the room upgrade cost. Flights are the responsibility of the player.
If a winning player cannot attend the St Andrews trip, the runner-up in that category will have first refusal, and this process will continue until the place is filled.
To qualify for the Spanish final of the Race to St Andrews, players must be 18 years of age or older.
Join us every Tuesday for the popular Tuesday Duel, a year-round eclectic singles Stableford competition. At the end of the year the top 12 scratch and top 12 handicap players will qualify for the Tuesday Duel Final. Similar to the FedEx Cup format, finalists will start with scores ranging from 10 under par to level par. The winners in both the scratch and handicap categories will secure their place in the Spanish National Final.
Every other month in 2025, we’ll host the Singles Circuit in Stableford format. The top players in Category One, Two and Three will earn direct entry to the Spanish National Final.
We will host 10 qualifying events in our 4-Man Texas Scramble circuit. Qualifying teams will advance to the Champion of Champions Final, with the ultimate winning team of four securing their spots in the Spanish National Final as individual players.
In addition to the Singles Circuits, we’ll host four Majors in 2025, one per quarter, in Medal format. These prestigious events offer another opportunity to qualify for the Spanish National Final, with winners in scratch and the top players in Category One and Category Two earning direct entry to the Spanish National Final.
Held every other month in 2025, the Pairs Circuit will feature mostly pairs better ball Stableford events, along with 2-Man Texas Scramble and Canada Cup formats. Winners in Category One and Category Two will qualify for the National Final where they will compete as singles.

It’s up to you! We can suggest a roommate, or you can choose a single occupancy option if you prefer. For those who win the Spanish Final, a shared twin room is automatically allocated, though you’ll have the option to cover the difference for a single occupancy room if that’s your preference.

Golf has been played at St Andrews Links for 600 years.In 1552 Archbishop Hamilton’s Charter recognised the right of the people of St Andrews to play golf at the Links. It has the oldest course in the world, the Old Course.
