Designed by the acclaimed Pepe Gancedo and opened in 1991, Las Ramblas Golf is an 18-hole, par 72, 5770m course lying within a beautiful mountainous area south of Alicante and if you like to take a few risks then this could be the course for you. Vigorous vegetation and thick woodland surround the course, but the Mediterranean pine trees provide a memorable backdrop. Slopes throughout the course together with ravines make it difficult not to lose a ball or three but it makes the course tight with interesting holes. Accuracy is a definite requirement together with some imaginative shots should you get amongst the trees. The course is tricky with water obstacles, lakes, rivers and well-placed bunkers.
