St Andrews golf Links

St Andrews Links in the town of St Andrews, Fife, Scotland, is regarded
as the “Home of Golf”.

It has one of the oldest courses in the world, where the game has been
played since the 15th century.

Today there are seven public golf courses; the Balgove, Eden, Jubilee,
Strathtyrum, New, the Old Course (which is widely considered one of
the finest, and certainly the most famous and traditional course in the
world), and The Castle Course, sited on the cliffs a mile to the east of St
Andrews and designed by the architect David McLay Kidd, which
opened in June 2008.

We have the Strathtyrum Course reserved however, all players can
enter the ballot for the Old Course or we can try and find availability
on other St Andrews Courses.

The St Andrews Golf Club

The St Andrews Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in the world, with its inception in 1843. The club are proud of its heritage having produced many of the early champions and figures in the game. The clubhouse is the envy of the world with its view over the 18th green of the Old Course. Today it is still a member’s private club however.

Campbell has managed to secure access for his clients on this trip to enjoy a three-course dinner along with a few drinks afterwards. This is a once in a lifetime chance to sit it the seats of many of golf’s greatest names who have also dined here in the past.

Carnoustie Championship Course

The Carnoustie Championship Course has hosted eight Open
Championships, two Women’s Open and two Seniors Open making it
one of the very few to have done so in the UK. It is one of the three
courses used for the annual Dunhill links, the others being Kingsbarns
and the Old Course in St Andrews and in 2018 the Open Championship
returned to the course. In 2018 the Championship Course was voted
Best Course in the Scotland over £100 by the general public, the
second time it has won the award in the past three years. The
Championship Course also won the Best Course in the World at The
World Golf Awards in 2019.

Campbell Lamont Golf are delighted to be able to secure this
incredible golf course to host the CLG “Race To Carnoustie” European
Final along with this 36 hole competition for his clients.
