Course Info

Now approaching their 50-year anniversary, yes, the course opened in 1973 so must be one of the oldest courses in Spain. Designed by the legendary Gary Player, El Paraíso it is set between the Mediterranean and the La Concha Mountain range. The course is very easy on the eye and has always been a popular destination for golfers of all nationalities. The course is easy to walk, although perhaps not in high summer! The signature hole is the par 5 6th hole, which is a dogleg with fairway bunkers and a lake with a double tiered green. It is stroke index 10 so not the most difficult hole on the course but if you come away with a par you will feel happy. No matter what your skill level you will find El Paraíso a pleasure to play.

Facilities

With a driving range and practise facilities for all aspects of the game you will definitely enjoy El Paraíso. Along with the practice facilities you will be able to hire clubs, Buggies and Trolleys. You will also find a well-stocked pro shop where the staff will be only too happy to help. In the restaurant you can start your day with a Full English breakfast, but if that’s a bit much you can always take a sandwich to eat while you are playing.
