Course Info

Alicante Golf, designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros, offers a real test for pros and amateurs alike. Located at the foot of the “Sierra Grossa”, north of Alicante it is the only 18-hole, par 72, 6236m course on the Iberian Peninsula which consists of six par 3, six par 4 and six par 5 holes.
For the longer hitters, having six par 5s offers plenty of chances for birdies although every par 5 is very well protected. The course enjoys seven water hazards so the ability to stay dry is very important. On the fourteenth hole you will find an unusual obstacle. In order to get to the green, you must pass the ruins of the “Villa Ferrer”, a Roman country house from the year 1 BC that was discovered during the construction of the course.

Facilities

Open 364 days a year (closed Christmas day), Alicante Golf offers you an extremely large driving range where you can hit from the grass, two fantastic undulating practice greens, a chipping area and a practice bunker, everything you need to sharpen your game before your tee time. Alicante Golf offers a large open plan restaurant with a full range of drinks and tapas. You can also order food “A La Carte” or chose the “Menú del Día”. Green fees at Alicante Golf are confirmed via the pro shop, which is well equipped, with welcoming staff and a gallery which includes the history of the club and golf.
