Course Info

Altea Golf Club (formerly Don Cayo Club) is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Bernia Mountain and was founded by Don Luis Campomanes in 1974, designed by Gregorio Sanz and Pedro Barber and sits at the foot of Altea Hills.
Altea Golf is a 9-hole course measuring 3078 metres from the white tees. Particularly challenging are the 14th hole (the second time playing the 5th), which is a tricky, dogleg right, 510m par 5 and the 15th hole (the second time playing the 6th), which is a slightly uphill 179m par 3. The positioning of the tee boxes when playing a second 9 holes is sufficiently distinct and different to allow a completely fresh challenge.
The position of Altea Golf itself offers some of the most outstanding views of the local coastline from the course. A handicap certificate is required to play here. For green fees at Altea Golf send us an enquiry below.

Facilities

The Altea Golf clubhouse is well located and comfortable with an excellent restaurant and snack facilities. Private golf lessons are available at Altea Golf in English, Spanish and German. Practice facilities include a 5-bay driving range, a putting green, a chipping area and a practice bunker, everything you need to sharpen your game. There is also a pro shop where all green fees at Altea Golf are confirmed. The Villa Gadea spa resort is nearby with a full range of treatments and relaxation opportunities. Altea Golf is only a short drive to the beautiful town of Altea.
Spanish Federation Insurance is now being charged at Altea Golf, with 1.50€ to be paid directly to the course, although this is only for non-federated players.
