Introducing the Tuesday Duals III

We’re excited to announce the third chapter of The Tuesday Duals, a collaborative effort between Campbell Lamont Golf and the esteemed Melia Villaitana Golf Resort. Following the incredible success of the past two years, this latest edition promises to elevate the competition to new heights and surpass all expectations.

Prepare for an extraordinary golfing journey as we continue to combine Campbell Lamont Golf’s expertise with the world-class facilities of Melia Villaitana. The Tuesday Duals III is designed to deliver even more excitement, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments on the course.

What to Expect:

– Format: Singles Stableford
– Scratch & Handicap Eclectic

Throughout 2025, join us every Tuesday on the stunning Levante course for an Individual Stableford handicap competition, open to all golfers with a valid active handicap. For federated players, scores will be processed into the RFEG system weekly for handicap adjustments.

Handicap Guidelines:

• Maximum shots received: Handicap indexes capped at 26.4 for men and women.

• Players with higher indexes are welcome to compete and can win prizes.

• Players with multiple handicaps must use their lowest official handicap for play.

Weekly Prizes:

• Net Winner Prize: Free entry to any future 2025/2026 Tuesday Duals competition of their choice.

• Nearest the Pin: Win a 50€ CLG Shop Voucher at Hole 14 each week.

Note: No weekly prize-giving ceremonies—simply “Play and Go”. All prizes will be managed through the Campbell Lamont Golf Shop in Ondara.

Eclectic Competition:

The Eclectic runs from January to November 2025, tracking the best scores achieved per hole for both scratch and handicap returns.

Grand Final Qualification:

• Top 12 scratch players and top 12 net handicap players qualify for the Grand Final on Tuesday, 2nd December at Melia Villaitana Levante.
• If a player qualifies for both categories, handicap qualification takes precedence, and scratch qualification is forfeited.

New Starting Stroke System:

For 2025, we’re introducing a system similar to the FedEx Cup. Players’ positions in the league will determine their “starting strokes” for the final, giving top performers an advantage heading into the Tour Final.

Eligibility:

Players without valid active handicaps are welcome to participate but can only qualify for the Scratch Eclectic category.

Save the Date: The Grand Final:

• On Tuesday, 2nd December, the season concludes with a spectacular grand finale:
• Complimentary green fee for all 24 finalists.
• Gala dinner at the prestigious Meliá Benidorm Hotel, complete with a prize-giving ceremony and live music.
• Celebrate your success and dance the night away—it could be you taking home the ultimate prize!

Over 2023 and 2024, the support of 624 golfers generated over 2,500 green fees, creating an incredible community of players from around the world. From juniors to seasoned golfers, men and women alike, the inclusive spirit of the Tuesday Duals is something we’re incredibly proud of.
