CLG Rules

  • 1. To be eligible to win any of our competitions, a player must have an active WHS handicap.
  • 2. An active handicap requires that a player has participated in at least six handicap-qualifying games within the previous 12 months with the club or society that manages their WHS handicap.
  • 3. The managing club or society may be any of the following: the Spanish Federation, any federation from the player's country of residence or play, or any official golf society using recognized WHS-based competition handicap software.
  • 4. All players are welcome to participate; however, to win the main prize, they must provide proof of their handicap history from their WHS federation or club.
  • 5. The maximum handicap index allowed is 26.4 for both men and women. Players with a higher index may compete, but their index will be adjusted to 26.4.
  • 6. If a player has two different active handicaps from two federations or societies due to splitting their time between locations, they will compete for prizes using their lowest known handicap index.
  • 7. Official Scorecard Policy : The physical scorecard is the official record of a player's score in all CLG competitions. The scorecard must be fully completed, signed by both the player and marker, and returned to the Committee immediately after the round. Golf Directo is used to assist with live scoring and results processing, but does not replace the official physical scorecard. If there is any discrepancy between Golf Directo and the correctly completed and signed scorecard, the physical scorecard will take precedence and Golf Directo will be amended accordingly. Failure to return the completed and signed physical scorecard will result in disqualification (DQ - No Return),unless the Committee determines that exceptional circumstances outside the player's control prevented its return.

  • 6. If a 6. • 7.
