Alboran Golf is a highly respected 18 hole, par 72, 6278m (white) championship golf course that has hosted competitions at the highest level. Situated in front of the Cabo de Gata natural park, beside the beach and only 5 minutes from an international airport it is simply superb. With excellent extensive greens, lovely fairways, stategically positioned bunkers together with palm, olive, pine, prickly pear trees and other local vegetation this semi-desert environment has to be respected by golfers of all standards. Negotiate the sand traps to reach the super greens only to find some concealed gentle slopes that make putting another obstacle to overcome.
