Course Info

The course at Miraflores was opened in 1990 so at twenty years old the course is very mature. Over the time since it opened it has undergone a few changes and now offers a real challenge to all levels of golfers. Each of the eighteen holes is different and brings a different outlook when playing them. There are some fantastic views from the tees and greens across the coast line and the mountain range that is the backdrop to the course. There are water hazards on many of the holes so keeping a penalty free scorecard is quite a challenge. The fairways are wide and many of the green elevated, this probably requires one more club than the distance dictates, to ensure you reach the safety of the green. Miraflores does not have any aspirations to become a championship course, it is and will remain a course where golfers of all abilities will come to play and enjoy their golf. Facilities

There is a fine restaraunt ‘The Bobby Jones’ which is staffed by the friendliest people and will cater for all your culinary needs. In the restaraunt you will be surrounded by the honours board and the history of the club, so it is well worth a visit. There is also a spike bar where you can have a coffee and a bacon roll before you play, and relax with a cool beer at the end of your round. You will also find some excellent practise facilities, including a driving range an practise putting green, which incorporates a bunker.
