Course Info

Named from the Rio Real River, which runs alongside this prestigious golf course and flows into the Mediterranean. As you play the course you will find the river provides an integral part of the course and its design. The course was opened in 1965 so is well established and it is located in one of the finest areas of Marbella. It has long been recognised by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation as one of the best courses in Spain. The course is designed to be enjoyed by all levels of golfers; this is largely thanks to some of the holes being elevated which will require the golfer to use all their course management skills. The course can be walked if you are feeling fit, but if not buggies and trolleys are available.

Facilities

A small but quite charming club house awaits before or after your round. There are spectacular views across the course, a great place to relax after your round of golf. If it is food, you are after, look no further than El Restaurant. The food is spectacular as are the views from the terrace. To compliment all this you will find excellent practise facilities and a well-stocked pro shop, where the friendly staff will be only too happy to help.
