Course Info

The Royal Guadalhorce Golf Club was founded in 1987 when a group of players who acquired the estate where the golf course is built. Originally designed by Koski Kuronen who was part of a Finnish group.  The course was redesigned in 2007 by Miguel Ángel Jiménez who is a honorary member of Royal Guadalhorce. It didn’t always have Royal in front of Guadalhorce, that only happened in 2017 when King Felipe V1 bestowed the title ‘Royal Club’ and his father Juan Carlos 1 is an honorary member. The course is suitable for all levels of golfer. The first 9 holes have a feel of an English golf course. Set in parkland with no water hazards the first 9 in a complete contrast to the second 9 holes. Here you will find elevated tees, narrower fairways and of course water. Nevertheless, the course is a fair challenge and one which we are sure you will enjoy playing.      

Facilities

There is more than golf at Guadalhorce, you will find Tennis Courts, Paddle Courts, Swimming Pools and a Football Pitch. There is a superb restaurant which is managed by the Doña Francisquita catering company. Here you will find a wonderful menu catering for all tastes, take a table on the terrace and relax after a game. Or charge your batteries before going out to play, which ever you choose we know you will enjoy the experience. As you would expect with a club like Royal Guadalhorce the practise facilities are extensive and where possible have been created to represent the course.
