Established in 2007, Campbell Lamont Golf has consistently orchestrated monthly single stableford competitions across Spain, each serving as a standalone event. Following an in-depth analysis of the golf market and invaluable client feedback, we are thrilled to introduce our initiative for 2024 – the “Singles Stableford Circuit.” This circuit encompasses 22 individual events, extending a warm invitation to players of all nationalities, genders, and ages. Embark on a thrilling journey through diverse golf experiences with us!
Every tournament welcomes golfers with a valid WHS handicap certificate, enabling them to participate in any number of events. Points, ranging from 5 to 50, will be awarded to the top 10 performers in each competition. The Spanish Federation handicap platform will handle the processing, allowing players to keep their handicaps up to date.
The maximum shots received will be capped at handicap indexes of 26.4 for both men and women; however, players with higher indexes remain eligible to compete and have the chance to win. Players with multiple handicaps must use their lowest known official handicap for play!
Each competition operates on a “play and go” basis, with no obligation to stay for prize presentations afterward. However, we encourage players who enjoy socializing and a few drinks to linger and engage with fellow participants. A nearest the pin prize is up for grabs, and the day’s winner earns an invitation to participate in any future singles circuit fixture of their choice. If you’re absent when scorecards are processed and have won a prize, please contact the Ondara Golf Shop (965757426) at your convenience to claim your reward.
Players have the exclusive privilege of selecting their top five scores from a potential 22 competitions, allowing them to exclude their less favorable performances. This innovative system levels the playing field, offering equal opportunities for participants who may not attend every fixture while benefiting those actively engaged in most of the competitions.

After every fixture, league tables will be generated and made available on our website: www.clgolf.es.
Golfers that don’t come in the top 10 places will earn a valuable bonus of 2 points every time they participate in any of the 22 competitions, contributing to their overall running total.
Throughout the year, comprehensive league tables will determine the top 8 scratch and top 8 net players, all securing coveted spots in the Grand Final. Scheduled for Saturday, November 30th, at Melia Villaitana Levante, this event promises to be the pinnacle of top-tier golf. The winners of both leagues will receive league trophies and exciting prizes, with an additional opportunity to win main prizes on the final competition day.
In cases of dual qualification, priority is given to the handicap qualification, allowing the next player in the scratch league to qualify. Players without active handicaps are encouraged to participate, but eligibility is limited to the Scratch category.
Saturday, November 30th, 2024, marks the grand finale of the circuit, promising an unforgettable celebration for the 16 finalists. Picture yourself relishing a complimentary green fee, an exquisite gala dinner at the prestigious Melia Villaitana Hotel, featuring a prize-giving ceremony and live music. It might just be you claiming victory and dancing into the wee small hours. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this extraordinary celebration!
After the completion of the 22 fixtures at the end of the season, the top 8 players in both scratch and handicap categories advance to the final. Points will be reset to zero, providing all finalists an equal opportunity to win the main scratch and handicap awards on the final day. While the winners of both leagues are assured the league trophies, they also stand a chance to claim additional awards during the event.
The ultimate celebration will bring together finalists from both the Singles (16 players) and Tuesday Dual (24 players) circuits on the same day. Additionally, teams of 4 players from the Costa Blanca League societies (64 players) will compete in the society cup. A friends and family competition (16 players) is also scheduled for the same day, totaling 120 players on the Levante course with a shotgun start at 09:00h. In case demand exceeds 16 players, the friends and family competition will be relocated to the Poniente course to accommodate the numbers required.
